Lahore, Pakistan. Nov. 2018 - Portrait of Mr Danjeras Currant who is a makeup and getup artist, who has been working with famous artists on stage for the past 35 years. He has to use his own makeup supplies, wigs and at times home made blood etc. while earning only Rs 1000 (US$7) a day. Hailing from a family of folk musicians and actors, he once dreamt of becoming an actor and being casted as a villain but never got his big break. Now he helps struggling actors and actresses to make the best out of the fading theatrical world of Lahore. He is the most caring soul of the backstage world.
